Then miracles can happen.

My process to pull this week’s general card reading is:
I always ask God to guide me as I pull these cards and this week’s card was definitely no exception. I thump the cards to rid them of any stagnant energy left over from the last pull. Then I allow Guidance to direct me towards what card to pull after the shuffle.
Roxy's Take on this card:
What stands out for me with The Holy Spirit card is
· “move into your heart”
· “you are never separate from God”
When the Holy Spirit card came up – I knew two things immediately.
· God always hears our prayers
· Miracles happen when “the channel for Love is open” and we are willing to receive.
Now let’s unpack this message.
We all have our inner Doubting Thomas. We doubt others often, but in truth, we also doubt ourselves the most.
Our egos truly want us to believe that we are like astronauts floating in space, tenuously tethered by a cord, all alone in the cold dark of space.
This idea of being alone and solely bearing the weight of our problems is encouraged by the Puritan work ethic of “it is your responsibility to please God by your good works”.
Meaning, that you are judged harshly if you don’t deliver your allotted portion of your duty. We often place ourselves on a treadmill to externally please an unforgiving authority, but that authority is often ourselves. We are our own harshest taskmasters.
Most of us forget that we come into this world, fully equipped with a skill that is unique and necessary for this world. We forget to honor our gifts and we focus instead on our deficiencies and how unlike others we are.
The Holy Spirit card infers that we can escape this negativity spiral of
1) Thinking we are all alone
2) Thinking we are undeserving and unworthy of goodness
3) Beating ourselves up instead of nurturing our strengths.
This card says that we have every right to Expect Miracles.
When we actively use our powers to change our thoughts about how we are feeling about who we are and how we want to show up, then almost magically, supernaturally, the panic, the fear and the doubt will dissipate. We open the door for the miraculous to flood into our lives in the form of loving support, guidance and achievement.
If your car has a flat tire, how efficient is it to yell at it and call it all manner of foul names? Will it make the car’s flat become fixed if you do so? Or will pulling the car jack out of the trunk and a fresh tire make the repair?
Using your skills to be a help to your situation is what The Holy Spirit card is about.
Faith in your resourcefulness will go a longer distance than giving into despair. It’s a muscle that we must remember we have and learn how to exercise it here and now, as much as we can.
Ask and it shall be given. This means, if you’re lost, you need to ask for directions!
A Course in Miracles instructor once told me to the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of Innocence. Our Innocence is a superpower!
Imagine deep within you, there is a responsive Higher Guidance system – that is akin to the innocence you possessed as a child.
It is incorruptible, indestructible, everlasting and as much a part of you as your breath.
But that’s not all! When you call upon your Holy Spirit of Innocence, it clicks into place and envelopes you in pure loving grace, gently providing you with exactly what you need – be it peace, the dissolving of fear, increasing your confidence or a brand new idea.
Years will fall away in an instant. Illusions evaporate and disappear. All that is left is a direct and complete enfoldment in the arms of God. You can be fed, held and healed in one glorious instant.
Let this thought marinate a moment.
In a holy instant, you are separated from pain, fear and the illusion of lack and you are free to just be you. The you that is timeless, whole and absolutely and utterly supported.
So that other important message that I gleaned from this card is simply “MOVE INTO YOUR HEART”
There is a reality that is outside of the current maddening one that is broadcast constantly. An inner realm that no matter what is going on – it is your personal Shangri-la. It is your “Calgon take me away” place where love abounds
A place where the only currency is love. That’s your heart. This is your own cathedral, supercomputer and compass.
I feel very blessed to have pulled this very special card which is a reminder that we are not ever without the protection and peace of God’s love. We are, (each one of us) packing the heat of that force always.
Here’s some questions to ask yourself:
What if I surrendered my fear truly and embraced a more loving and gentle explanation of God?
Who can I be if I’m not carrying guilt, worry and shame all of the time?
What would my life be like if I trusted Life with the innocence of a child?
