One Choice Collapses the Path Straight to Me

“Say it plain and set it free.”

This week's theme at the Center of the Heart was about "Personal Choice Activates Faith". 

While thinking about this theme, I pulled a card from the Down Home Celestial Wisdom deck: the Ace of Microphones. The Ace traditionally is always about new beginnings and new energies. So, when we talk about activating your faith through choice, I am called to remember that the Microphones suit in DHCW stands for the Wands energy from the Rider-Waite decks. The Microphones is about how the primal energies of Life move you to take action. This action is always for your highest benefit.

For instance, you have a song lyric circling in your mind; or you are inspired by visions of a hand crocheted blanket you saw on your Pinterest feed; or you feel pulled to get down to brass tacks in a conversation that you have been putting off about the state of affairs in your relationship with your significant other.  Whatever the branch, it is leading you to a fork in the road in your life. The Ace of Microphones says, "it is time to step up to the mic and say your piece."

This card comes to urge you to declare your truth. New possibilities and opportunities to experience what truly lights you up are now appearing in your life. The only cost to you is to show up fully and speak your word. Your word has the power of your convictions, your beliefs, and your faith.

When you make a choice, you signal to the Universe which path you are focusing your energy towards. This means that everything can line up energetically to support your new divine activity. So, speaking up and showing up for yourself by taking proactive steps to fulfill your heart's innermost desires indicates that you have faith in yourself and your right to live a fuller version of who you are.

So now that lyric becomes a song, that desire to create the beauty you saw on Pinterest frees the beauty that was trapped inside of you to become your art. That conversation where you express your true needs provides the partnership a truer version of who you are.

Following these impulses and hidden desires creates and expresses the real you. Do not fall asleep on this energy.

That energy is sturdy enough to set your drink upon – so it is also steady enough for you to step across the threshold into the newness that your heart and soul has been whispering to you to claim.

Do not hold back on yourself. Go for your dreams!
